Adult Sunday School Class On Reparations
Please join us for a book study of Reparations: A Christian Call to Repentance and Repair by Duke Kwon and Gregory Thompson.
This hybrid class will meet in the church parlor and through Zoom at 9:30 AM on March 17th and 24th, and April 7th and 14th.
TPPC History and a Tour of Its Buildings
Join long-time member and amateur historian, Jill Feasley, on Sunday, March 10th, from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. as she discusses the 131-year history of Takoma Park Presbyterian Church. At the end of the talk, she will give attendees who are interested a behind-the-scenes tour of the church buildings.
Adult Sunday School Resumes September 10
Adult Sunday School will resume on September 10th at 9:30 a.m. in the parlor and on Zoom. We will be reading A Bigger Table: Building Messy, Authentic, and Hopeful Spiritual Community by John Pavlovitz.

Doctrine of Discovery Class on November 20
On Sunday, November 20th, Adult Sunday School will discuss the Doctrine of Discovery. a concept of public international law promulgated by Christian European monarchies in order to legitimize the colonization and evangelization of lands outside Europe.

Adult Ed: Rethinking Public Safety
This year's heightened urgency about current policing in the US and its impact on people of color in our society and communities led a subgroup of the Committed Racial Mindfulness Ministry to begin meeting and working as TPPC Presbyterians for Police Transformation. On Tuesday, January 5, and Monday, January 11, 7:30-8:45, this group will lead an Adult Education class.
