“…Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another…” Hebrews 10:24-25

In his letter to the Hebrews, Paul reminds us that, in times when uncertainty and disorder reign, we must build each other up. 

As a church, we seek to be a sanctuary from the outside world, a lighthouse of renewal, compassion, and reconciliation. This includes providing emotional and financial support for our members while incubating resistance and activism for justice and peace.

TPPC’s Needs in 2026

• Build Capacity:  2026 will be the first full year of the new staffing plan that has strengthened our communication platforms, technological skills, and the revenue-generating capacity of our buildings. We are already seeing many benefits from these changes, and want to continue this increased capacity and service in 2026.  This will increase the cost of non-pastoral staff by about $50,000 in the coming year. 

• Increase mission support:  At the same time, we want to increase our commitment to community-building and the earth care while many government programs for people and the environment are being slashed.  We propose to increase the budget for mission support to $63,00, a $10,000 increase over 2025.

• Sustain our community:  We are committed to deepening our friendships and building community through Sunday worship, weekly events, youth and adult educational programs, and other activities.  We will continue to invest in these areas as well as our beautiful buildings that provide special places for so many.
