Standing Together:

On Sunday, March 30 from 5-8pm, we are hosting a solidarity potluck at the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church at 310 Tulip Ave.  Please RSVP and register a dish by emailing communitypotlucktp@gmail.com.  

Many people in our community have been impacted by the recent executive orders about federal workers and contractors.  Takoma Park Mobilization, Takoma Park Presbyterian Church and Cub Scout Pack 33 are co-sponsoring a Community Potluck for support and solidarity with these workers on March 30th from 5- 8pm.  We will have food, music, information about community resources, Q&A with an employment lawyer, free chair massages for federal workers, and a few words from Montgomery County Council President Kate Stewart and from State Senator Will Smith.  

We hope to provide an opportunity to come together, meet neighbors and support and encourage each other during these difficult times.
