Members of the San José Church, TPPC's sister parish in Jiñocuao, Nicaragua, have sent us their annual Christmas greetings with news about the harvest, education, employment, and emigration, and their hopes for a 2023 Takoma Park delegation to Jiñocuao.

Our friends at our sister parish San José Church in Jiñocuao, Nicaragua are mourning the loss of Valentín de Jesús Ponce Sánchez, the founder of the Jiñocuao Christian community, who passed away from a heart attack on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Our brothers and sisters at the San José Church in Jiñocuao, Nicaragua -- our sister parish for 30 years -- send their love and greetings for a joyous Christmas season in a letter dated December 1st.

In October 2021, a major COVID-19 vaccination campaign took place in Jiñocuao, Nicaragua, where TPPC has a sister parish relationship with San José Church

TPPC has received a letter from our sister parish in Jiñocuao with news that they survived Hurricane Eta but were facing a second hurricane named Iota.

The Jiñocuao Committee has received a letter dated October 27 from our friends at our sister parish, San José Church, in Jiñocuao, Nicaragua. We are pleased to report that the news is mostly happy (this is not always the case) so there's lots of reasons to thank God.

TPPC has received a letter from our brothers and sisters in our sister parish in Jiñocuao, Nicaragua noting the monumental changes that have taken place in our world recently and their “non-stop praying for ourselves and for you.”

The letter, dated June 23, was signed by Julio Huete, the chair of the Twinning Committee, Maribel and Otila.
