Sermon: “Facing the City“ by Pastor Mark Harper

“We must admit that the city is not just a collection of houses with ramparts, but also a spiritual power. I am not saying it is a being. But like an angel it is a power, and what seems prodigious is that its power is on a spiritual plane.”

Jacques Ellul, The Meaning of the City

The Session has called a Congregational Meeting for Sunday, June 26, immediately following worship, for the sole purpose of electing a new elder.

The Nominating Committee is placing Madeline Radman in nomination for the office of Elder in the Class of 2022. This slot on the Session has been open since early 2022.

All members of the church are encouraged to attend in person or on zoom and cast their vote!

Our services continue to be held in our Sanctuary. People are welcome to come to church for worship, and we will continue to live-stream our worship service.

Facemasks are currently optional at TPPC; however, if you’re not vaccinated, we recommend wearing a mask. We recommend that everyone get the COVID vaccination and booster, and if you have a vulnerable health condition or just prefer to wear a mask, please feel free to do so.

For more information, access the TPPC Coronovirus page.

About Online Worship

We will gather by ZOOM (feed available starting about 10:45 AM).

Directions on how to connect and participate in virtual worship will be sent via a group.io e-mail. If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM we recommend you read up a little before the service.

We will set an informal and experimental mood, ask forgiveness as we stumble along our way in a new medium. It will be fun.

For more information on TPPC's coronavirus response, access the TPCC Coronavirus Update page.
