Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless

The mission of the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless is to provide solutions in Montgomery County to ensure that homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring. Based on the belief that housing is a human right, Housing First means that MCCH provides people experiencing homelessness with permanent housing as quickly as possible – and then helps them address the issues that led to their homelessness and provides ongoing support to ensure they never become homeless again.

Programs include emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, and developing and managing properties specifically for people who are exiting homelessness.
