Crossroads Community Food Network

Crossroads Community Food Network is building a healthier, more inclusive food system in Maryland’s Takoma/Langley Crossroads. Crossroads Farmers Market has been making fresh, healthy food more accessible in the Takoma/Langley Crossroads since 2007.

The Healthy Eating Program brings fun and interactive cooking lessons, food tastings, farmer visits, and other farm-to-fork programming to the classroom.

The Microenterprise Training Program offers free, bilingual business support to local aspiring food entrepreneurs.

The shared-use Takoma Park Silver Spring Community Kitchen -- located at TPPC -- is managed by Crossroads for our church. The kitchen is fully licensed and operates as a shared-use community kitchen whose mission is to serve as a resource within the community to alleviate hunger and economic inequality by providing a space for local food production and food recovery programs benefiting low-income individuals. The facility also serves as a hub for nutrition and education classes.
