Two online advocacy events related to the 2022 edition of Ecumenical Advocacy Days occur after Easter.

Ecumenical Advocacy Days (EAD) 2022 will be held virtually from April 25-27 and is centered on expanding voting rights in the US and realizing human rights around the world. This year’s theme is “Fierce Urgency: Advancing Civil and Human Rights”.

EAD is a movement of the ecumenical Christian community, grounded in biblical witness and our shared traditions of justice, peace, and the integrity of creation.

EAD’s goal, through worship, theological reflection, and opportunities for learning and witness, is to strengthen our Christian voice and to mobilize for advocacy on a wide variety of U.S. domestic and international policy issues.

You can access the agenda and register for EAD 2022 on the Ecumenical Advocacy Days website.

PC(USA) is again hosting Compassion, Peace, and Justice Training (CPJ) around the Ecumenical Advocacy Days theme of Fierce Urgency: Advancing Civil and Human Rights.

Its virtual programs will be roundtable discussions on two CPJ ministries and what individuals and churches can do:

  • Tuesday, April 19, 2-4 PM - Supporting International Human Rights.

  • Wednesday, April 20, 2:30-4:00 PM - Domestic Civil and Human Rights.

You can register for either workshop by accessing this link.
