To: Brothers and Sisters of the Takoma Park Church
Dear sisters and brothers,
May you receive our loving and Christian greetings on behalf of the Commission and the community of Jiñocuao. Our desire is that you are all well, and that you remain united with us in the same spirit of faith as before.
We have received the agricultural loans for this year of 2000. The rain is falling and our corn is now planted and growing. The people who are participating in the loan program have formed solidarity groups, for the purpose of helping and encouraging each other to keep our corn weeded and to provide a feeling of mutual support as we face the challenges of this community project.
Our community remains committed to our relationship with you, and we are excited about the prospect of a youth delegation this coming summer. We are also delighted to inform you that our church community is growing. In addition we want to let you know that we have new members on our Commission as a result of an elective process, which has resulted in the following membership:
| Valentín Ponce | Coordinator |
| Pascual Rios | Secretary |
| Gumercindo Ordoñes | Finances |
| Maria Otilia Flores | Finances |
| Saturnino Moncada | Member |
| Santas Ordoñes | Vice Coordinator |
| Javier Escalante | Sub-Secretary |
| Rosa Alpidia Olivas | Project Representative |
| Modesta Andrades | Family Representative |
| Diana Maradiaga | JESUS Group Representative |
We hope to continue in this spirit of communication and to strengthen our relationship with the support of the holy spirit which we have all received in this season of Pentecost. We pray that God protects you and gives you strength to move forward.
From the sister Commission of Jiñocuao
